Nighttime Traffic Stops are DIFFERENT! 👮‍♂️ #Lawyer #Police

Getting pulled over at night is one of the most dangerous situations you can be in. Police are on edge at night, so they can jump to conclusions and pull their 🔫 on innocent civilians. So, what can you do to stay safe? I suggest turning the lights inside of your car on (if you don't mind them seeing everything inside) and even turning your car off. This will help the officer feel more at ease, which means you will be safer.

When I pull over I would turn on my flashers, turn on my dome lights, roll all my windows down. (my back windows are limo tint) shut off the engine and place my hands on the steering wheel. I would NOT unbuckle my seat belt. Cops love to accuse you of not wearing your seat belt. I always keep my registration, driver's license, proof of insurance in my wallet on my passenger seat. But I would not reach for it until the cop asks for it. Then I would tell him where it is and ask permission to reach for it. Don't make any sudden movements. Once you give the cop your paperwork that's all you are obligated to do unless you're ordered out of the vehicle. And my mantra always is, don't talk to the police.

I am a female seeking legal counsel. I was wrongfully arrested and then had charges dropped after. The police violated my rights. I had lawyers that i hired telling me at the time i should plea guilty as they said I was interferring with their investigation. I pleaded innocent and have footage of my arrest. I can't get a lawyer to help me sue these officers. They arrested me when I did not give them my social security number. They bullied me in jail and told me i would not go to court til i gave it to them and paid the fine of 700 dollars. I was only walking down the road trying to get a bus a uber to columbus since i was in circlevillle trying to get to the hospital to see my dying mother. All charges were dropped and was innocent. I was put through mental stress and aguilsh and my family as well over this. Please help. I was also made to stay in a cold cell with no shoes or sock on. I was kicked when they searched me before putting me in a cell. I need help.
