I don't want to hear the media making this about Assange's health and his human rights. Those are ancillary issues and I am sick and tired of everything coming down to people as individuals. If you are in the media and you buy into this distracting aspect of the story, shame on you! You aren't doing your job, you are ignoring the principles that need to be spotlighted and honestly pandering to people's simplest and saddest instincts. If they can't see Julian as anything but an injured man, they've missed the whole point of everything that he has been doing--his whole life's work! Don't do that to him and to what he represents, especially in the name of misguided compassion.
