How to Fix Roof Rack Vibration (Uptop, Prinsu, victory4x4)

FINALLY figured out where the vibration was coming from! After a bunch of diagnosing it turned out to be my Uptop Overland Roof rack. After trying a bunch of tinkering trying to fix the vibration, I found out the fix was super simple. Also after talking to the people over at uptop it seems like it was one of the most common fix’s for the vibration issue.

Wild! Thanks for putting this out there! Vibrations, squeaks, and leaks can drive you crazy. My leaking rear brake light leak was causing my sestbelt to get soaking wet. I was convinced it was from my roof rack. Videos like this one help me expand my thinking to fix problems! Thanks again.

I installed Victory Rack on my 4runner and it was all good until I got on the highway. Then omg!! Once I got to 55+mph it sounded like rumble strips and was soo loud you couldn't think straight. I went home and had to adjust the front height and it cleared it up immediately.
I love my rack!

I had the same problem with my Uptop rack. Uptop told me the same thing. Problem solved. 🤙🏼

Did you change out the fairing on your Uptop rack? I just received mine for my 4Runner and it is solid without horizontal cut outs across the the front of the fairing. I saw you had a different fairing on one of your other videos.
