Ambient Iridium & Argon8x // Mirrors

In this track Meems laid down the foundation with her vocals first over an A minor drone pad. Afterwards, her performance was split into phrases and then imported into the @WaldorfMusicChannel Iridium. We crafted a custom granular vocal patch using all the phrases from Meems performance mapped across the keyboard. Then a pad like patch was crafted using a wavetable derived from one of Meems vocal phrases. The pad performance changed harmony around in the key of A minor. Finally a custom @ModalElectronics Argon8x patch was used to accent the musical moments and give a hint of a counter melody.

Everything was recorded in Ableton Live 11.
