Yes I remember playing Karthus jungle back then before the idea of playing him jungle wasn't even conceived, peoples used to be very toxic to me, I was getting flamed, insulted and cursed in all languages and even getting reported for trollpick, then boom karthus became a full jungler now

A friend of mine was varus main since the beginning and tested all items. He found out often that ap or hybrid varus was stronger but his teams trolled him the moment the realise his items so often, that he had to wair till some korean made it popular enought so he was alowed to play it.

I get flammed constantly for building things that aren't popular in the states. Like voltaic cyclosword on kayn right now for example. Na servers pretty much nobody builds the stupid thing, but on Korean servers it is consistently the first build item regardless of form, because it gives a bunch of stats that both forms want and also has a passive that procs quickly off of high movement speed, which blue does, or off q spam, which red does.

I remember playing with Rammus yuumi bot lane on my team and assumed they were griefing champ select. Gave them the benefit of the doubt and didn’t dodge, they went even in lane and then rammus with 3 items and a yuumi became an unstoppable villain who would just casually 1v4 every fight with unending despair. On top of that, I was yorick so we had the perfect comp of these two having the longest team fights possible while I was taking inhibs every 5 minutes because nobody on their team could back once the fights started. It was beautiful, sometimes ranked flex isn’t pain

Late season 10, assassin mythics bad and goredrinker freshly nerfed. Kha with Conqueror and Stridebreaker was by far the most optimal way of playing him. Not a single person knew about it except koreans in high elo. I've been flamed every single game for it regardless of my performance.
