Saber (Artoria Pendragon), gets A LOT of unwarranted hate JUST for being the “face of the #fate franchise.”
Don’t get me wrong, there are TONS of other #servants that could’ve been on par with #saberartoriapendragon, BUT let us not forget what sets her apart from the other #servants of the #fateholygrailwars. At the time, the #battleofcamelot, when #artoriapendragon was barely hanging on & about to die, the #holygrail offered #artoriapendragon something that it hadn’t offered to any other LIVING person before; it offered to allow her to LIVE if only she gave her life to be summoned as the #saberclassservant in the #holygrailwars & it’d let her, and I quote, “come back to that hill for eternity, ” until she’s finally able to reach her goal of obtaining the grail in order to save Britain from ruin, which we now know can never happen.
It’s truly irritating that the “sole reason” that people hate on her is because she’s “gaslighted as the face of the Fate franchise.” When she’s earned the damn right to be the renowned legendary #KINGOFKNIGHTS. It was her will, dedication, hard work, determination, and the absolutely devastating pain that made the legend she portrays.💙💛💚🤍🩵
