The number of interviews featuring #bollywood celebrities that defend their movies or work with the most lame excuses are endless. Venkat Prabhu with #goat blamed CSK, Sidharth Anand with #hrithikroshan and Fighter blamed indians not experiencing flights, #akshaykumar is adamant not to take a break and some celebrities are just delusional. Arjun Kapoor says that people only troll his weight and looks because they can't question his acting.... He is unaware about criticism regarding his limited acting abilities.

They feel entitled enough to assume that "they are doing god's work by making movies and that's why the audience is lucky enough to watch their work". They don't remember that their career even began because of us and they have survived because "we pay". They behave like they own us.

Sandeep reddy vanga should be the topper of this list who doesn't want to listen to any criticism against his movies

I think it takes a lot of courage for an actor of Aamir Khan's stature to take the onus of the failure of a film on himself. This is the type of introspection required by the actors and directors of today, instead of pointing fingers towards the audience or each other.

I have no repect for artists and directors who think their art can only be "understood" by a certain class of people, i.e "flew in a plane rich", "intellectual, educated, intelligent" or ludacris ideas like "Not having grown up loving csk" etc etc. The most cop out answer to any criticism or dislike for art and media is "You just didn't get it"

Sidharth anand's reply is in the same level of Govinda's comment on the Avatar😂

I love Sid Anand as a director, but that 90% of Indians not sitting in airplanes is really why Fighter underperformed is really really stupid

Amir khan taking up responsibility for the flop just earns him more respect

so true, sometimes I just want to yell at my screen "It's NOT that serious" when watching some of these celeb interviews
Aamir Khan is a true sport for taking it as constructive criticism

We really need a befitting Faridoon-esque to Sid Anand's statement.

"How much hard work we put in to entertain the audience"

But buddy, the audience is not entertained

Remember one discussion involving Rani Mukherjee and few filmmakers from south in which she refused to acknowledge the pov of a director and kept on insisting, rather adamantly, why Indian cinema is the best.

Arjun defending his performance with throwing it on audience that they are disrespecting the character of "Sadashiv" is exactly how Bhumi Pednekar called out criticism for "Thankyou for coming" as them being misogynist. Like just take the criticism if don't agree ok, why pointing the audince.

If anyone disrespected Sadashivraobhau the most, it's Arjun Kapoor. He did it through his terrible performance.

What is this narrative that goes on - "Oo we work so hard...we have struggled so much". The kind of compensation these movie industry people get for their struggle and hardwork is way way higher than most other industries. Everyone works hard and even after getting a decent amount of success in their fields...many aren't compensated well enough. Eg. Engineers, doctors, lawyers, govt officials and other academic fields (and not to forget the daily criticism they get from their higher ups). Even the sportsperson (other than cricket) aren't compensated well enough even after being at top of their game. But its the film line people that complain a lot.
