When it snows like it did yesterday, the turkeys get desperate for food. They scratch at the snow to uncover any hidden seeds. If they don't find any, they stand around and wait patiently until I go to the window. There's almost always one hen that stands right outside the window and that keeps looking in to see if I'm there yet.

Are they waiting for you to feed them? What do they eat? That's quite a group to feed! How fun!!! I'm in AZ and we have wild turkeys here too but not where I live. They showed a group of them trappsing through the snow to get under a cabin's patio today. They were looking for shelter. I loved seeing them even if they were only on TV!
