Man, I always appreciate your your reviews. I’m a automotive mechanic but I also do some A/C work. I know Fluke is the benchmark and I have their automotive meter but sometimes I just need a reasonably priced tool that is decent. That’s why I like your channel, you give a real world overview. 👍

That bottom screen is so handy when working in the old houses in my area. Almost none of them have enough room to stand up straight. So, if you want to see your screen when clamped on the service entrance conductors, you got to stick your head up in the cobwebs or use it upside down and do some yoga.
I wish my flukes or amprobes had had that feature.

I agree that this is a great meter for a fantastic price.
Thanks for all the great information you put out in your videos

Great video TETC, pretty unique for a clamp meter to have the two displays, a very handy feature!

My backup clamp meter from Ideal is one of the models down from this. It doesn't have all the features this one has but I only paid 60 bucks for it. It's proven to be rugged and reliable.

I think Klein meters are made by Finest Instruments (Korea) or UEi. Ideal meters are made by Appatech.

Thanks for all the great videos TETC! Some of these ideal products have me wanting to buy more meters than I need. 😂 I like this one but I'm really leaning toward the 61-757. I really want that loZ function. Lot of ghost voltage in my area. Thanks for always bringing your honest opinion and for reviewing some really cool tools.

Awesome videos as always!!!

I own the Ideal 61-737 Clamp meter, so far its been a pretty good instrument. I don't like the test leads they feel pretty stiff but it's something it can be updated.

I'm apprentice 1st year and I have a question with something:
A few weeks ago I was doing a commercial job and when I try to measure my primary voltage 600vac the meter gave me OL, then I took a Fluke 323 and gave me 604vac so I guess in order to have a accurate reading and a good margin of safety you should use the one with 1000vac max. Am I right?
Or the Ideal 61-737 clamp meter should have no issue in reading 604vac.?

Would there be a way to troubleshoot this clamp meter?
My dad was trying to use this on a diesel Excursion and said he got iffy readings.

Do you like this meter better than the fluke?
