These are one of the reasons why I don't work for anybody but myself 👍

Bad info employers absolutely have the right to require proper attire for the type of business they do

Wrong! Employers have the right to enforce a workplace attire policy.

First of all unions are completely unnecessary in any non-blue collar jobs. Secondly, the employer 100% has the right to request a certain type of dress code (specifically dress casual and business casual). If you don’t like it then they can easily find someone that isn’t an entitled Gen-Z child who thinks jeans and a t-shirt is acceptable. Grow the hell up kids, it’s not infringing on rights when you are employed by a company, you sign a document stating the rules in which you are expected to follow. Anyone with a brain can find the means to obtain professional business clothing, whether they be through a thrift shop even, Amazon’s cheap (but functional) dress clothes, or perhaps a friend/relative who has the understanding of the importance of not looking like a slob at work (especially true in professional environments).
