I am a 44 year old western NY man that works as a Head designer for RF power delivery systems for the major chip tool companies.  I get to marvel at the great advances in video games over the past 4 decades and I am happy to see a group try to perfect that space fantasy game I always wanted.  Lets give them some cudos and be happy for this amazing preview to a final product.  Great Job Chris and teams...

Its come along so far now that this looks ancient and its so much better being able to land yourself now.

As a backer that has had mixed feelings about the projected timeline and sheer magnitude of the project...I have to say that this is incredible. Well done guys.

Even though its just a video, this is the most emersive thing i have yet watched on a screen.
Its just so realistic, the boring security guard, the usually annoying commercials...
I felt like I was really there!

The sensation it gave while walking in the ship in space was insane!
I love how you enter and land in a planet, looks way better than I ever imagined ;)
Fantastic work!

Cool video! Though if anyone from CIG actually reads these comments, I would suggest changing signs from "Open 24 Hours" to "Open All Hours"; each planet will have a different day length.

So much progress has been made, and looking at this video makes it mind boggling o.o

Noone seems to understand this is a Pre-Alpha DEMO, for those of you who know what a demo is haha Its not Optimized at all and CryEngine is still being coded for Double Precision 64 bit, its why you're getting all of these glitches in the demo. :P

This is going to look so effing sweet in 1080p 60fps once optimised and the hardware catches up to maintain it, i'm very excited :)

So fucking good! I know the games about ships but I always love the cities in these types of sci-fi games.

Was he looking for the rest rooms? Poor pilot looked very constipated while walking & running. If there's going to be a storyline or main & sub quests then I'm definitely sold on this.

Legit this is all in the game, minus some cinematics. In fact, it's even better now because in this demo, EDL assistance took over and pretty much faked the entire landing process. Now you actually land it yourself
