Less money into local economies. Less sales tax revenue. Many credit cards tapped out. Much misery to come. .Good News: Rich are doing extremely well.

Poverty just in time for Christmas.
A lot of people were aging out.
They don't hire old people they hire young people. A lot of employers lost their businesses, some died, and some came down with dementia. You lose your phone.
You lose your place to live. Your credit score tanks. You're no longer part of the economy. Homeless.

This is ridiculous! We aren't talking about people stealing from the government. We are talking about hard working people who had been at their jobs for YEARS who had benefits, vacation days, all brought down to nothing and had to start from zero. I've been working since I could work, never received unemployment or welfare and to be reduced to being homeless is just insane to me. I've applied for so many jobs and still haven't gotten hired and now no income at all. Yes, that's the answer.

For all the real hard-working jobless Americans that had a job pre-pandemic just want to say this is not your fault my prayers are with you I am in the same boat as you I’m a hard-working father I support and take care of my kids but at the end of the day we all are human we’re not machines we can’t be everywhere at once and we can’t fight everything we need more help and it doesn’t matter how much it cost or how long it takes we all are human stuck on this planet that’s called earth so we need to do everything in our power to protect and take care of one another no matter how much money it cost because at the end of the day no amount of money has ever bought a second of time so cherish the time you have now with your families hold them close kiss them every day and tell them that you love them because the world that we live in now is no longer promised to us tomorrow #UnemploymentNeeded

I live in Florida and not only did Gov.Desantis drop the $300 months ago in addition the DEO where you claim your weeks and put in your work searches has been down and or with glitches for months. Today is the last day to claim the previous 2 weeks and the DEO system has been down and up and now everyone is getting a “Suspended” or over payment notices. All his claims about the jobs being available is complete B.S. 58, 000 Floridians will tell him differently.

Not true! While getting unemployment I have applied for so many jobs ! I have had interviews. And they just won't hire me. Coming from a 21 yr old that has a clean background. Clean drug tests. Seriously we need more time. It is unfair that unemployment hit a deadline but I still have a balance of 2, 000$ they should AT LEAST GIVE US OUR REMAINDER. OR SOME MORE TIME. THIS IS UNFAIR. I have a kid what are we gonna do now ? Go homeless I guess. And this is coming from someone who is dying for a job. And the unemployment benefits were not enough to keep us on our feet but it was SOMETHING. you think taking it away will make us get a job? YOUR WRONG. it will make us go homeless. COVID cases are rising again. I am scared ! I don't know what to do now. Thanks Biden!

Slow down in the economy over the next few months is code for the stock market is going to drop because people can’t pay their bills and the pandemic isn’t over.

The cut off on unemployment will cause crime to sky rocket. There’s no jobs, there’s so many Business that closed for goods and others are working at 50 percent or less. Now that there is no spending money I pray the market doesn’t crash

I’m broke, I’m going to lose my house. I can’t pay my bills. I’m going to be homeless, and they’ll never let me rent a place again

Money that’s printed digitally out of thin air. Why make us work so hard and no one sees that we are slaves. They do whatever with our money..

There’s not as many jobs as people claim.. as a single mom, I’ve been desperately looking. I have a young son, 7 years old…and I have nothing coming in. We have NO FAMILY. So when we get evicted, we will be living in my car. Which will probably be repossessed soon even tho I only have 4 months left on my loan.
I just can’t find work

The way they used to get people to work was by making sure a job enabled you to have a home, a family, stability, etc. If that isn't true anymore why should anyone work?
