In this episode, I used a CNC machine to trace out the profile of the glasses on the g35 project so that I can use them as a template for finding suitable donor parts at the salvage yard.

Water jet is best option to cut curved glass. Used to work with a guy who designed sunroofs for old Porsche 966s and we had to have some test sunroofs trimmed after many failed attempts with diamonds cutting wheels and such we went with a water jet shop and it worked out well.

Is it too difficult to untint the glass of the first one? Isn't tint just a film that you remove with a heat gun?
