Better Call Saul is the prequel to the award-winning series Breaking Bad, set six years before Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk) became Walter White's lawyer. I felt so bad for Fred. You just knew Lalo was gonna take him out. He's like one of us totally uninvolved and sucked into this universe out of nowhere

That pause right after Fred asks Lalo if they’ve found his “brother-in-law” is brilliant. You can just see the gears turning in Lalo’s head as he adapts to the story Mike created, all while keeping the trademark grin on his face. Tony Dalton is a great actor

I love the small detail of Lalo turning the open sign to closed.

Worst thing is that it’s later revealed Fred died with multiple fractures. Lalo could’ve shot him but decided to brutally beat him to death

I like how in BB and BCS no random guy gets killed without it affecting everything forever after. In so many games, shows etc random guys just die and it's brushed aside unless the character is the main guy or gal. In the BCS universe there's consequences to everything, I like that.

Mike was angry with Werner here but it wasn’t necessarily at his decision to run away, it was more at the fact that he essentially just got himself killed

I liked how Kai (spelled correctly?) was hinted at being the trouble maker the entire time, but he ended up actually being one of the most reliable workers.
