Is there a way to get that option for "Item Barcode" to select on print labels? The only selection I have are Name, Customer Type, and Vendor Type.

I use adjustments to track inventory cost for construction projects. Is there anyway I can do this with a scanner? The customer does not pay for the inventory since all material cost are included within the contracted price - which is set up and billed as an estimate.

i was trying to help someone setup barcode scanning in quickbooks enterprise 2020. we went through the barcode scanning wizard and enabled it and it works. the problem is is when he goes to scan a second option it trys to stick it into the quantity field unlike yours where it just populates a new item or increases the quantity. do you have any idea how to fix that?

I am selling 2 different types of electronic items
But the each of the 2 items have the same barcode but each item has different serial number so I know which ones I sell for warranty purposes.
How will I be able to inventory this
Is there a way to do it ?

Hi Hector!!
So we did all of this and for some reason when scanning barcodes onto a form (invoice, PO, Sales Order etc) it works perfectly with our admin account - but all of our other accounts it brings up an an error message "Quickbooks did not find in your list of products and services - Would you like to add it now" But the barcode is already listed on the item. What makes it even more strange... when we go to the "items & Services" we can scan the barcode in the search field and the item will show up!

I was on with QB help for 2 hours and they had no explanation. Anything you know of?

How would this work if I have assembly items. We build our goods, so obviously we create assemblies, hold them in pending until it is built and hopefully all inventory parts are available to make the pending into actual. Obviously scanning for inventory adjustments is also something that would have been nice, but for now. How can I use this and a scanner to possibly do this? Maybe it's in another video?
