"Mit" and "ohne" are two very common prepositions in German. The two words are opposites and mean "with" and "without" in English. Actually, "mit" and "ohne" are simple. But you have to pay attention to the correct case - dative or accusative. Isi and Mitch explain how this works.

“Mit” und “ohne” sind zwei sehr häufige Präpositionen im Deutschen. Die beiden Wörter sind Gegenteile und bedeuten auf Englisch “with” und “without”. Eigentlich sind “mit” und “ohne” einfach. Ich würde vorschlagen, dass ihr über Gesundheits-Thema einige Videos machen, da dieses Thema sehr notwendig ist.
Zum Beispiel: in der Apotheke oder mit dem Arzt sprechen.
Wenn ihr manchmal gemäß den verschiedenen Themen so manche Videos drehen könntet, wären sie sehr hilfreich.

Wenn ich mir diese Videos so angucke, fällt mir auf, wie kompliziert Deutsch eigentlich ist. Ich bin sehr froh darüber deutsch schon zu können und es nicht erst noch lernen zu müssen. Das wäre mir viel zu kompliziert.

To me the most confusing thing about _ohne_ is that you don't always have to include an article with the noun that follows, even if the noun does require an article most of the time. For example _Ohne Mantel ist es draußen zu kalt._ I encountered this issue over a year ago and to this day I still don't understand when you use an article after _ohne._ The only thing I've been able to figure out is that native German speakers don't seem to know the answer any more than English speakers.
