It's actually not made in Japan, it's actually from China.its called jinshan, it's the same as kingsugi but it's originally made from china in the ancient time

Kintsugi is both an art and a philosophy. Just because it's practical doesn't mean it's not an art. If a skilled craftsmen builds a chair or a smith forges a beautiful sword, is he not an artist?
