This guy seemed like he wanted to do an album with the sounds of the 60‘s, the 70‘s, the 80‘s and the sound of the future

He sounds like someone who knew he wanted to be a musician when he was 15, 16, when he really started to play guitar

I’m waiting for him to say “ My name is Giovanni Giorgio
But everybody calls me Giorgio “ and then it starts

Bruh his voice sounds so cool. He could read an ad script without it sounding boring.

That story with the different microphones is amazing. I just went back and listened to the track, and you can definitely hear the change in fidelity when he starts talking about the future. The recording is slowly faded between the different microphones in the middle of his sentences.

"I wanted to do an album with the sounds of the 50s, the sounds of the 60s..." - very old microphone
"...of the 70s, and then have..." - 60s/70s microphone
"...a sound of the future." - new microphone, you can really hear the high end open up.

Absolutely mindblowing. Highly recommend giving it another listen if you have good audio equipment.

My 8 year old daughter recognized Giorgio's voice and said "Is that Giovani Giorgio?"

hearing Giorgio talk about the different microphones being used to record him speaking, and the fact that no one would ever hear any difference between them except for the Daft guys is going to be one of my favorite stories about them moving forward

God knows how many masterpieces we will never hear anymore... and they are at home just sitting enjoying them.

If anyone is wondering why his accent sounds German even though he's Italian, it's because he is from a region of Italy that was part of Austria, where the majority of people speak two languages German and Italian.

My dad used to sell ice creams in summer with him when they were teenagers in Italy ...
