For all the people whining saying baku wins first understand both of them are intelligent in very different ways, baku takes things like bluffing eq, strategy, composure, and influence, but Sherlock is the polar opposite, i know baku has some pretty good deductions, but Sherlock's reverse reasoning with overall more intel and confidence, if they both wrre to go against one another, thr winner would heavily be influenced by what way they compete

first. Sherlock solved the problem by 'reversely using' the assassin of a powerful enemy who tried to kill him and faking his death, and without even seeing the killer in person, he accurately judged the situation he was in and asked Sherlock to get a job on favorable terms. They made him come into the hideout. (EM)
This is a feat that is invisible to Baku. Also, just by looking at it, you can reveal all of the other person's personal information (occupation, past work, tastes, current situation, personality) and even read the other person's mind (this is just a matter of knowing what the other person is doing). There is no problem in giving Sherlock the best insight and observation to Sherlock through this feat, at the level of reading the other person's 'words of thought' rather than guessing what to do.
Also, in fact, in many of his novels, he has never been unable to tell whether a person is a criminal or not even when looking at him in person. Many clever detectives in fiction have to act while doubting whether the other person is the criminal or not, but Sherlock can tell whether the person is the criminal or not simply by looking. The only problem with him is the evidence to prove he is guilty.

Sherlock is quite intelligent in the novels but Baku is simply more "complete", as Kaji said at the beginning of the manga "he is someone who knows everything about winning", whether it is only cat and mouse scenarios or pure intelligence, will Sherlock win?, overall Baku will win

Guys we all know that Baku is fucking underrated but nobody can compete with Holmes in Novel's he is just the GOAT in my opinion is Holmes the incarnation of smartness, but i habe to admit also that Baku is very very close to Holmes.

First of all, i read Usogui and Sherlock Holmes, so don't go commenting if i read Usogui or Sherlock Holmes. Second, Sherlock can't be manipulated. Third Sherlock fought someone worse than Baku, and that is Moriarty

Knowledge to Baku, simply due to not living in the 19th century.

SQ, Deception, Strategy, Tactics, Adaptability all go to Holmes.
Low diff.
Thats only considering probably around 4 novels.
