Here's a good tip for you and to pass on as well, That is When you are downloading the roms, if you happen to download more than one of the same kind Make sure that you remove the Identification counter of the second copy Example - {Star trek (1)} If you see the (1) as it is the second copy of the same download - you must remove (1) before you put the ROM file in the appropriate folder or the Emulator wont see it and therefore wont load the ROM file. Any characters that was not part of the original name will cause the Emulator not to recognise the file itself.

I did what you said, when I open up a game it just shows the demo of the game before you would "put a coin" to play the arcade game. I am pushing all the buttons on my keyboard/mouse, but the game doesn't start or respond to my inputs. Why is it not letting me play?

It was showing the rom error for me but I followed the instructions, search and downloaded, extracted and pasted and re-zipped it. It worked. Thanks!

After setting it up, using a frontend like Launchbox or Emuloader will make things easier to organize.

i have gauntlet legends and california speed

both consist of a ROM and a CHD file

i place both the CHD and the ROM into the rom folder and it tells me its missing bits

what am i missing for california speed because it just says "calspeed is missing" yet its right there in the rom folder

gauntlet says its missing more than one thing

why cant people link to the places to get the good and reliable files

Can't even switch to another play in 4 player games like TMNT because it set up like the arcade to where you put your quarter into which ever color joystick that represents which turtle you wanna play with. Can't switch on this emulator I tried and you Can't save your progress like the other emulator

Out of 15 games i've downloaded (light gun games) 2 Crisis 1 & 2....can't even get older T2 Arcade game or house of the dead working. Says files missing but the files aren't in the zip
