Malaysia's first combat aircraft, the tiny Canadian-made CL-41G Tebuan was pride of the RMAF during those days. The jets roared above my school during afternoon carrying out training maneuvers. It was first based at Sungei Besi AB temporarily before shifting to their permanent base in Kuantan. A total of 20 units of Tebuans formed the No.6 and No.9 squadrons. The Tebuan created history as Malaysia is the only country using the export version of this aircraft which was derived from Canadian CT-114 Tutor, a trainer version used by the world renown aerobatic team as the Snowbirds.

Please! Bring back the square marking, that's our identity since the formation of RMAF. It's a unique marking compare to the roundel. I hate the roundel type, from a far It's looked like Taiwan air force. Why must follow British, they using roundel since the formation of RAF. Bring back square marking! Don't hate me, this is my opinion only.
