Please don't leave us hanging on this cliff! You have taken on one of the most exciting guitarist of all time and you have done it with reverence and an excellent lesson !! Please continue this lesson on into the song. I have to say, you are such a talented player and instructor and a joy to sit in the "room" with you and learn. Keep up the great work!

The Terry Kath suggestion was made only days ago. How did you learn this so quickly? Amazing and .... Slightly depressing ( to me ). Very impressive. Thank you so much for tackling this song. I was lucky enough to see Chicago/Kath. Make Me Smile - another great solo.
This 25 or 6 to 4 breakdown is the first time I've heard anyone discuss it in such detail. As always, you teach a song, but with such a unique approach you teach things that can be applied elsewhere. I am a paid member, but will send in a small donation because it is well-deserved.

Wow! I have been trying to figure out this solo for years and there were parts I couldn’t grasp until now. This is the best explanation of what Terry was doing yet. Thanks for the excellent lesson.

If i could press like 1000 times and have them count, I would now!😁 terry is my favorite, you know that. I've been adding unnecessary notes to the fast part that trip me up. You definitely helped me a lot by showing me that it is simpler, and you smoked that section, youre a beast! I hope there is a part 2 coming! Enjoy the day Mark

Thank You, Thank You! I've only been able to get through about 25% of this Solo on my own. You're bringing me through the rest of the way. This Solo is my Top 10 of Greatest Solos, if not the #1. Great job Mark, really appreciate the lesson.

Terry Kath was extremely underrated. It’s criminal how much he is left out of the greatest guitarist ever conversation.

I hope others have stated this, but yes, please do the rest of the solo. It's been years since I've played the tune with my prior band. I know I did not have everything exact but...

Sure would like to see what I missed. Always learning. Thank you.

I like the way you broke it down in short sections.I may be able to learn it this way. of course I've been wanting to learn this since the 70s. I hope you post the rest of it and thanks also. I have the tabs for this but it dont really help as much as the way your teach is much better.. Oh yeah your guitar skills are amazing, you was burning it up man. Very Awesome, Thanks again

Mark, another great "You Lost Me" guitar lesson, I never learned the pentatonic, scales, never had a lesson either. Reminds me of a story, Oh I have plenty of those, Thanks!

Great work! I watched quite a few guitar lessons on this solo. You are the first one to really cover the theory. More please! I was trying to figure out how he incorporates the harmonic minor and dorian. You nailed it. Please do a deeper dive into the theory. This should be in a textbook on how to solo over non-diatonic chords!
