Edgard Varese's Ameriques, arranged for piano - New York premier

Four pianists from the International Contemporary Ensemble (ICE) perform the New York premier of Edgard Varese's piano arrangement of his Ameriques on July 10, 2010, as part of Lincoln Center's "Varese: (R)evolution" series.

This is the original version of Amériques and it is a wonderful transcription of Varèse's masterpiece. A recording is luckily available on the Wergo label. I hope someone (Helena Bugallo?) would also try to reconstruct the revised version. Varèse himself initiated this revision but ultimately did not finish it.
