Le portrait de sa femme morte m'a bouleversé, il reflète autant la tristesse d'un visage ravagé par la maladie, l'adieu à l'être aimé et la dernière image que l'on peut avoir d'un être avant sa fin. J'ai été d'autant plus touchée que j'ai eu deux être proche touché par la maladie. Ce tableau beau et bouleversant m'était inconnu, il dit une vérité à travers les siècles.
L'amour, la mort. Monet nous met en connivence totale avec notre destin humain, en fraternité avec lui avec nous à travers les siècles et les épreuves.
Une incroyable expérience pour moi. A voir au musée d'Orsay.
