My dad bought me this game when it came out. I was 13. We played this for hours. How he managed to have the energy to work two jobs and be present every day amazes me. I’m a dad now and am only beginning to realize how incredible he really was. I miss him every day.

I remember playing slug fest 2004. That was nuts. Beaning too much could lead to the batter catching on fire and charging the mound, the pitcher could win the fight leading to him catching on fire.

I got an infield hit one time (which perfectly mirrored how I played baseball irl) and my friends were like “of course you would manage that in this game.”
