Yeah i made a timelapse with the recording thing and iset the particle count to 2 million and i let it run for 12 hours. It was absolutely facinating to see the high quality collision. We would love to see more!

SpaceSim does NOT use GPU for simulation, only for rendering

This looks a lot like a theory of the moon’s creation, there was two blobs and one larger one flung the other one away and the second one became the moon, while the first one fell back to the earth

But this can’t be how our actual moon formed, since this moon is made entirely out of matter from theia, but i heard real moonrock was similar to earth rock?

Nice video! And here are some Things you should do/check out:

Go to the visual settings and turn on future paths to see how things will move

Give Jupiter multiple moons, like the earth, venus, mars, mercury, and the moon and see the chaos

A protoplanetary disk around a star or Jupiter

A very small dense object and a very large non dense object

Hit the moon with a haumea sized bullet, moving really fast

X Rings

And Simulating the formation of the moon with Two Theias

With high resolution, it's probably more realistic, not because it feels real but it's because these space events take years.
