Great review. Respect the choice to not judge the game for the negatives that are directly related to the hardware itself, and NOT a fault of the game.... Gotta ask Vic, on a VR note but off of Iron Man, any interest in dabbling in Dreams when the PSVR functionality hits? 🙂

I would love to see a more PvP-style of game like Armored Core do this sort of thing in VR. A _highly_ customizable suit/robot/light-mech to do arena combat and missions and stuff like in Armored Core.

You're 1000% right saying that VR games need big IPs attached to them. I remember seeing the reveal of this game and then nothing and now it's out. Good to see it's a solid experience.

I purchased a PSVR because of Iron Man I must say I'm very happy with that it allowed me to play other VR games like super hot and Eve Valkyrie

In my apartment, I don't have a tremendous amount of space in my game playing area so I trend to bring my VR headset home to my parents house, which I did for this. I too used a piece of furniture - a tiny dresser behind me - as a point of reference. The thing is though once you really get into certain missions, you don't realize how turned around you get and suddenly you have Mr. Fantastic noodle arms, haha.

I think there is a good chance this comes out on Quest sometime in the future . I think graphically it looks like something it can handle . Also Oculus is making PSVR port of Vader Immortal so maybe Sony will return the favor .

I know it’s far from the best but I’ve really enjoyed PSVR. Recently, I’ve played Blood and Truth and Astro Bot Rescue and both of them are excellent exclusives. I can’t wait for the second generation of their headset because there is so much potential with improved technology. This definitely looks worth checking out. Shame about the loads but like you said, maybe they’ll patch it for PS5. Thanks for the review Vic!

I never had an issue with the PS camera tracking the Move controllers. Once I got tangled from spinning too much, but otherwise I personally didn't have a problem. But I agree: it's the limitation of the hardware that holds the game back mostly (that and no full locomotion when out of the suit for some reason. Apex Construct does full locomotion with only Move controllers, so this game could do it too). Overall, one of the best VR games and a really good game outside of that.
