Pb2110 is the code on the plumbing. Was considered the plumbing of future. It was flexible and easy to use. From my knowledge it was used mostly from 1981 to 1998 mostly and mobile homes. I’m a Home Ins inspector in Florida and you can be pretty much guaranteed that you will find it if it has not been replumbed in the majority of houses or mobile homes and that range of years. It was known to crack and break with chlorinated water. Also the Around the metal fittings or connectors chemical imbalance caused corrosion. In Florida, they require four-point inspections on all houses over 20 years of age. They will not ensure polybutylene piping.

My house was built in 1996 and sadly we had this. Repiped to pex through the attic but now we gotta be careful with the pipes freezing up in 20 degree weather(even insultated). Dunno whats worse. Probably the PB. Sigh.
