Love Dave. One of the biggest flexes, “You can’t cancel me, I own the show.” 💪

I think the most important voting is local voting but all voting is important. Thank you for putting this message out to vote

Dave, Rachel, great video!! I was on the fence with this election and was considering not voting. But after listening to you, I decided to vote, and now I feel good about it. As a middle school teacher, I have incorporated your Foundations in Personal Finance course in my business classes for years, so I have a strong respect for your thoughts and disciplined mindset. I am very grateful and truly appreciate the wisdom you both share!! Thank you!

Love to see another fellow real estate appraiser on the debt free stage. I’m currently in the process of crushing my debt, almost there.

Dave was completely wrong talking to the guy around 40:00 about putting his medication on the credit card. If he can get a free $300 from doing it that way he would just be stupid not to.

If it was someone who is working on getting out of debt and they were wasting $300 a month Dave would act like they were completely wrong and like it is a large amount of money, but when a guy gets $300 a month for finnesing a credit card and is just getting by then he is wrong and needs to get his income up. Yeah, it would be nice if he made more money, but he should without a doubt be using his current method for the free money.

I understand that Dave will never tell anyone to use a credit card for any reason. As we can see here sometime he is just completely wrong to the detriment of this caller. I really hope the caller realizes this and does not take his advice. Dave's method of building wealth works and should be followed by most people, but there are other methods that work and Dave's word shouldn't be taken as gospil for every situation.

Dave is correct - all former presidents are addressed as "President" - it remains an honorary title for life. What is interesting in the press, which is almost entirely left, they refer to Carter, Obama, and Clinton as "President." They refer to Bush and Trump as "Former President..." It is a bias, perhaps subtle, but actually there. This is the same protocol as calling a retired professor, "Professor..." not "Former Professor..."

I like how you laid that out on how to make your decision on who to vote for. Voting to a tough but important responsibility. Thanks Dave!

Voting the right way absolutely does matter if you want to continue living in a safe country. The threats we're facing, brought on by the policies of the current administration, are profound and substantial. They will become a reality for most people if we don't change course.

A write-in is a wasted vote and a wasted opportunity to get our country back on track.

I agree with what Dave said regarding how he decides which candidate to vote for. You look at the issues and how each candidate leans, then prioritize the list. Whoever leans the most towards your hot button issues gets the votes. Yes, sometimes you have to hold your nose when voting.
For those of you who are shocked and appalled that Dave is voting for Trump, you either are extremely naive, deaf, or this is your first time watching the show, as he's made it abundantly clear how he leans on the issues for YEARS. I'm not saying I agree or disagree with his choice, just that it's never been a question.

two 42 year olds called back to back.

the guy from vegas, was full of defeatist language and concerned about $300 credit card cash back. the other was a millionaire who went to college and went on to become an electrical engineer. the only difference between the 2 is where their focus was. Small things vs Big Picture.

42 is still young enough for a career change. hope he figures out what he needs to do to get his life on track.

Great comments on the debt stage! You should have a "post your hoopty" pic challenge or page. Or any other sacrifices made so others can see. Congrats to you all! What an accomplishment!

For the better part of my career I had the oldest and junkiest car in the parking lot. It actually became a joke and while everyone was toting around a car payment, I was saving and investing. It got to the point where I purchased a toy (Shelby Mustang) and paid cash for it. I still drove the beater to work but I had a nice toy in the garage for nice weekends. I definitely don't care what others think.

Dave is smart. Smart enough to say pro-life vs pro abortion even though he knows that opposite of pro life is not pro abortion. I knew from the title I shouldn’t have clicked! Lolol
