The gesture that Jessi makes, the one that means "don't be so cheap" in Italian is called "braccino corto" = short arm and means that the hands cannot reach the pockets to take the money.

My wife could hold an ENTIRE conversation with one sideways look of her eyes. She gave me "the look" while we were having dinner with my folks. My father saw it, looked at me and just shook his head. In other words "Leave it alone son, you can't win"

I remember doing hand gestures like that with my aunt when we went to the store, she spoke italian but not much (due to family past) but she spoke English most of the time, I know very little italian due to my Italian family members being long gone before I was even born. But watching these videos fills me with happiness and makes me relive those memories with my aunt.
You seem like a wonderful couple, I wish you all the luck and joy 😊

I recognize all the gestures. I'm an Italian descendant from São Paulo, SP, Brazil...

It’s funny that while my great grandparents (southern Italian immigrants) didn’t teach/let their boys speak Italian in the home, thus my grandpa didn’t fully learn conversational Italian and couldn’t teach my dad as a result, the hand gestures and talking with our hands transcended all of that lol. Watching these videos has made me realize how much of what I thought were just gestures my family did or something are actually common for Italians lmao

I lived in Argentina many years ago. There is large population of Italians and Sicilians. Even now I recognized what these two were saying. They're so funny & I love their postings 🤣🤣🤣🤣😎
