Mr. Namakubi Tattoo needed his psychoquiff tidied up... Perfect chance for me to use the new Reuzel Pomade shaving cream... We get a lot a lot of questions about how to do those vamp-ramps. The big secret is the blowdrying (as it is with many haircuts)... I used the grooming tonic for more hold and a Denman brush to make sure all the hair is standing up in the right direction... Flattop the crown area, scrunch the hair till it's knotty (Bleached hair works the best) and use a pick to "unknot and straighten it up, finish the haircut freehand...

Off course it's not a haircut that walks in on a daily basis but we have the reputation for doing them so we usually get to do a couple a week... We've always loved the haircuts that are related to subcultures and Psychobillies are without a doubt the most outrageous looking rockers out there.. Off course the wizard that is Jelle Mollema found the perfect song to go with the video, "Frankie's got a quiff" performed by old time friends and psychobilly legends: BATMOBILE
