Great hint indeed! Especially with thin or even mouth blown glasses this will just twist of the bowl from the stem.

@wine folly I'm a big guy with big man hands and I have to say I am terrified of polishing my riedel sommeliers bordeaux grand cru glasses. I'm more worried about crushing the bowl of the glass than breaking the stem, especially polishing inside the bowl of the glass.
