as soon as I saw the Caliente makeovers I immediately got worried that James wouldn't recognize Katrina anymore and we wouldn't get the beautiful shouts of her name. never been so happy to be wrong lmao

Honestly loved the old no edit videos. Feels like a chill time and calms me down. Mistakes happen and reminds me we're all human and it's okay 😊

Isn't the internet wild? Thanks to the internet, this man in Australia I have never met, who doesn't know who I am, has been a more consistent part of my life over the past almost decade than most of my friends have been. Wow 😂 this video just made me realise I've been consistently watching your videos for 9 years, that's like a third of my life, and it's just sent me spiralling lmao

9 years and you still don't know that selling the cowplant right after planting it gives you more money. (400 vs only 180 for the berry) 😅

Nine years?! I can’t believe I watched this original series in real time. Time flies! Excited to see you attempt this again.

'Dont smell yourself you will be less confident' I love James humor

Who remembers when James would get that message while fishing, not read it and give up fishing because he thought that meant there's no more fish in the pond....😂

I guess theoretically making digital art in the real world would be faster than having to wait for every layer of oil paint to dry to the level you need to continue. But in my experience, artists are slowed down more by their perfectionism and insecurities than their medium.

I've already said this in the members video, but a new Rags to Riches Extreme would be amazing!
Also I'd love to see you build the house on the lake or the 'mountain' house again with the new tools, I loved those builds.

8/9 years of experience really helped Duke Silver have an easier life this time around. Though I found it mildly amusing that he snubbed his first timeline wife Summer for Katrina.
However I found it a vexing reminder that even the refreshed Katrina doesn't have an established relationship with Don.

I personally like the unedited videos, but it was fun to see James get frustrated with not being able to edit the video.

I actually really like these unedited videos. It’s like hanging out with a friend while they’re playing.

I would've loved to see you build a small home for him. He deserves it, after all.

I want to see a Extreme Rags to Riches series again. That one was so fun... and extreme!

I remember the original rags to riches very well, and I love this return to the older style of video. I dont watch anywhere near as many Sims videos as I once did, as I'm not keen on the highly edited, fast paced, 'content', most people do now. Back in the day it was actually watching people play the game, and have fun with it. I'd love to see more videos like this.

This is super fun! Love to see the no edit video - and WOW what a difference in the challenge from 9 years ago. As a builder, I'd really enjoy you revisiting your old builds and see what you can do with the updated game.

Speedrunning rags to riches. 8 years ago, I liked the unedited long play videos. I miss that feeling. I finished Coe’s Quest and felt nostalgic for a youtube that just doesn’t exist anymore. It was a nice experience to watch this video today.

I actually prefer the less/no editing videos. They feel much more natural.

For what it's worth, I really enjoy the pace of your unedited videos 😄

as a person who draws portraits in many forms, both realistic to pencil (traditionally) to toon style digitally. I can say without a doubt digital is faster for me anyways, takes me 2-3 hours to do a portrait verse two days in traditional style. Due to my arthris I will also say that its less mess too no needing 100 brushes and messy paints you can paint on the pad with unlimited colors!
