Bryan Cranston was the original voice actor for Jim Gordon before Jonathan Banks played the role. Cranston did play Gordon in Batman Year One.

Even if it's not directly a reference to the show, it's really interesting to see how popular of a town Albuquerque became after Breaking Bad's mainstream success. It most likely influenced the town being named here, as well as in a lot of other medias
