Jayuya is the type of place where every corner, street, river, mountain, and person holds an incredible story from our past as a nation. This is a place where you might unknowingly pass by an unassuming building without realizing its profound importance at some moment.

A place with pristine natural landscapes that were sacred to our indigenous Taíno ancestors whose traditions, history, and culture live on to this day thanks to the determination and dedication of the people of Jayuya. A place that played a monumentally important role in our history and shaped the Puerto Rico we live in today.

And a place that surpassed our expectations and captivated our hearts.

Hi Brik! Another awesome video. We fell in love with the PR after our first visit. We have recently decided to check out Jayua. We are considering going next February or March. What is the weather like around those months?

Good information about the twisty roads, my wife and daughter hate twisty roads! Are the roads jammed with cars on the weekends?

Im visiting again in August and would like to know where I can buy locally made goods to bring back. We were in Viejo San Juan 2 weeks ago and all the shops had things that were made in China. I want to support locally made goods only.
