I was robbed at gunpoint in front of my apt in Houston & none of my neighbors answered their doors so I could call the police. I had to run to a payphone.

EDIT: This happened in October 2007, and there was absolutely a payphone nearby. And yes I knew quite a few of my neighbors as well.

Edit: ok I’m getting tired of people reading my comment wrong. I wasn’t saying she should answer the door at all. I did say she should call the cops and let them handle it just in case he actually needed help. By having him stay by the camera would help capture anything that might happen on video and give the police a location to go to.
