Electrohome G07 CBO - Fuse repair & Cleaning arcade monitor chassis

Показать описание
In this video, I clean the chassis with denatured alcohol and fix a fuse problem. Then we let it age for over 4 years, take it back of the shelf and forget everything we did.
Next, I need to fix the missing color and do a cap kit.

I was waiting for an ElectroBOOM moment when the monitor was powered up after all that time!

Nice work! Curious why you didn’t install a fuse holder to make fuse swaps easier?

I've had issues with a G07 missing red that were resolved by re-flowing the solder on the neck board and the chassis.

Lol 4 years later... sounds like my projects. Cant wait to see the conclusion in 2023.

ADAMHILL, can you explain more of the theory on how an arcade circuit sends out RGB signals and H&V sync signals and converts them to deflection signals and draws the graphics on the arcade monitor. I'm not sure how this is done

ADAM HILL, arcade monitors B+ voltage is a bias voltage? why does the V&H sync hold circuit need a B+ bias voltage set at 125vdc in order for it to work correctly? it doesn't make sense why it needs a big DC offset voltage at 125vdc for it to work
