How to write an HSC Economics Essay

Got no idea how to write a Band 6 worthy HSC Economics essay? In this video, top-scoring HSC student Thomas Farmarkis talks about how to effectively write an essay for HSC Economics.


Thomas and Rowan discuss the following study tips:

- Importance of being precise and succinct
- Use of statistics
- Use of diagrams + how to incorporate them into an essay
- Length is not key - 800 words is OK

Thomas completed his Higher School Certificate (HSC) in NSW, where he achieved an Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank of 99.95, placing him in the top 49 students out 66,000 students in the state.

Thomas also achieved a number of state rankings including, 1st in Legal Studies out of 8,800 students, 9th in Economics out of 6,200 students, 9th in Modern History out of 10,000 students, and 6th in History Extension out of 2,500 students.

hi im doing the junior cert this year which is a test you take when your 15 in ireland but i am finding it hard to study beacase i know it dosent effect me in later life at all but i still want to get good results!any tips ?
