Hello all.

I AM ULTRAMAN!

Wew anybodeh watching Netflix's Ultraman? =D I kinda like it! Though to be honest, I no longer have that sort of excitement watching Ultraman in 2019 now, but nonetheless, it's an extremely nice road trip down memory lane. I've been listening to some of the old Ultraman OSTs, and dayum, were they sweet~ And the fight scenes are so much more realistic and fluid now gotta admit! No longer the choreographed fighting steps the usual Ultraman shows used to have. Thinking about it, the olden day Ultraman shows had really cringey fights, BUT, it was what made the show, and as a child, I think i picked up my interest in martial arts from imitating their fighting moves hehehe.

A bit of my thoughts when I was making the arrangement. For this piece, I wanted to include a bit of "pre-discovery and pre-mastery" essence that Shinjiro portrayed. So we have the scales and some light chordings to bring out the 'peaceful times' before Bemular appeared, and him living rather peacefully. The scales part signifies the uneasiness of the father when he suddenly remembered who he was, and that danger was real and not imaginative. So they prepared all they could with the SSSP and the suits. Then when the real intro hits, that's when Shinjiro was ambushed by Bemular, and commences the start of his Ultraman story, to carry on his father's duty to protect mankind from the seijins. =)

Oh, on my setup you can see I've got some friends with me, specially for this video~ It was REALLY sudden, that I thought it would be good to have some Ultraman stuff to go with the cover, and I thought "Alright, let's just do it" and down I went to get some Ultraman merchandise. Wasn't what I had wanted initially, but they worked fine =)

I've been staying up late just to cover my work, and it really doesn't feel good blehhhh. really wanna get through this tough times and start the recovery journey to proper sleep.

I hope you all did watch the Netflix Ultraman, and I am still looking to make more covers for this season's new releases! (or old ones that I've always wanted to arrange.)

Happy to know there's lots of fans of this show. I love this show. Want to see it go on and on. Netflix hit a home run with Ultraman. They're kind of on a roll actually. High Score Girl knocks it out of the park as well. But back to Ultraman! Long live Netflix Ultraman.
