Alec led a vintage scuba experience for divers wanting to learn about and dive double hose regulators just like 1960's divers; no computer, no SPG, no Low Power Inflator and no safe second.

I learned to dive with Aqualung two stage regulators in 1965 while stationed in Japan and it was a simple rig and a lot of fun, deepest I dove was 80’ .

Alec these regulators are a great part of history. When can we expect the next Sea Hunt festival? All the double hose guys I know are the best!😊 I would enjoy a video of a comparison with the modified double hoses and the originals, I know how competitive you guys are. You can even get out the plastic knives.😉

Hi Alec great to see that your old two hose regs can still be used for fun dives. I always liked the idea of the bubbles exhausting in the back not in your face I guess that is why they brought it back for the Kraken modern two hose. I recall you made up a fake scuba tank from wood for a sea hunt event for the kids to have their picture taken with. I guess you could take the diaphragm out of a two hose and just breath through the back for pictures, mot very sanitary but a great Halloween costume. Take care Owen m

Hi Alec, can you remind of the episode where you said it was ok to press the purge button on your regulator when you are washing it and it isn't under pressure as I want to remind myself of what you said as saw another video of someone saying you must never do this. Cheers Dale.
