I'm excited to try this one- I love simple games with interesting decisions!

Shout out to the behavior at the Dice Tower.

I have seen a lot of gaming content over the years - and while female voices are far more prevalent than they used to be, sometimes they can be overshadowed by their male co-hosts. Zee and Tom are titans in this industry.

It's subtle, but the guys turning and actively listening to her explain her opinions really struck me. It seems like all of the co-hosts really respect each other, and that improves the entire product.

The phone cards should have been postcards instead I think

I saw the cell phone icons and was put off by them as well. Guess I am also old.

I appreciate you guys touching on the color blind issue. I find it crazy that in this day and age, games are still being published that haven’t been tested for color blind folks. Thanks for bringing awareness to the issue and hope you all continue to do so!

Take tiles and score by groups and adjacency. Groundbreaking!!!

Thanks for the 2 player comment, Tom!

This game feels like what I expected when Queendomino was announced. Basic game with a slightly wider decision space.

I'm wondering if Foundations of Metropolis fills a similar space as this game or not? Probably will buy one of these two this year but not both.

Tom not giving his score last? What is going on?!?

Wow surprised by all the negative comments on this game. To each their own, but we enjoyed this one a lot. It does compare with Kingdomino and Queendomino, but I enjoyed this one a bit more as it had flexibility and variability that those games lack. It plays quickly. It is a great family weight game that is relatively easy to teach (rule book could have been clearer for 2 players). For the price point, people who like tile laying games with simple rules and quick play times, should enjoy this one.

I think that the simplicity of the name works well for the better games i.e Leder Games with simple 4 letter word names.

This game is such a phenomenal light euro, it is so moorish, can't stop playing, easily my most played game of the year

I demo'd this at DTE and was bored by the end. It took too long to play because there was some AP amongst players trying to min-max... There's a ton of city-building games out there and this one does nothing unique or interesting. 6 at best.

I seem to recall this showing on up on a couple people's most most anticipated lists, so I was interested to watch this review. It looks pretty generic, though.

Based on your review, it seems that Kingdomino covers very similar ground. I enjoy Kingdomino's simplicity and speed. So it's probably a pass for me.

I’d argue the other way. Explain to me how worker placement isn’t a drafting variant?

Disagree with Tom, 2 player is fantastic as well, Rahdo put it in his top 10 of the year and he is the ultimate 2 player connoisseur.

I will say 2 player feels different, but i found it had more tension personally.😊
