Steve Kerr is a blessed man. Played in the NBA and got 5 rings as a player and 3 as a coach and counting. Played with MJ with the Bulls and David Robinson with the Spurs. He was coached by the 2 bests in the League in Phil Jackson and Mike Popovich. He also made the last shot for the Bulls in the Finals when MJ passed the ball to him.

Those are the GOATs if their eras. Who is better than who all comes down to your criteria it is subjective at the end.

Even if one accomplished more in rings and/or awards than another it was with different rules, pace, competition, team support, and MVP voter biases.

I think it should be GOTE (greatest of their era) and GOAT is really not fairly provable.

Imagine how many championships LeBron would have won and would continue to win if he had Phil Jackson and or Popovich as his coach? The plays, defense, offense, etc. T Lue would have not won 30 games without LeBron. MJ would not have made it to the finals as many times as LeBron with Lebron’s teams. MJ has never had to carry a team either. Before Pippen aand Phil Jackson came along he was just like Dominic Wilkins, a highlight phenom. I am amazed by what LeBron has done and can do..amazing force!
