We need a chairperson of the federal reserve who has not worked for, or been a member of the federal reserve. It seems that most federal reserve chairpersons are more interested in enriching the federal reserve and its owners than they are in doing the right thing for U.S. citizens. The best thing that can be done to benefit U.S. citizens is to end the federal reserve and return the authority to regulate our monetary system back in the hands of congress, as designated by the Constitution of the United States of America.

"Evidence based approach" That's a joke right? The economy was doing horrible in Dec 2015 when rates were raised. Yellen raised rates because the FED had rhetorically painted itself in a corner. It was either keep rates where they were and reveal to investors the negative view that the FED had of the economy or raise rates and risk pricking Bernanke's bubble. She will be on the negative interest rate bandwagon before too long.
