What a cool idea! You found some great thrift books. Ahh The Maidens. I have a troubled relationship with Alex Michaelides. I hope you have better luck with him than I did. Luka and The Fire of Life is gorgeous. Ahh Riley Sagar is another complicated relationship for me. 🤣 The Margaret Atwood find is fantastic! ooh also the Barbara Kingsolver! I might have to take on your thrifting challenge. I do a lot of secondhand shopping, so I think I can do pretty well with it.

Fun video! I love looking for book treasures at my local Friends of the Library store. In January I brought home 16 books (10 were hardcover picture books) for $10.50. I love your b-roll of NYC. I’ve only visited once and briefly, but had a terrific time. Happy Reading! 📚

Excellent job on the book selection! I’d love the chance to book thrift. I’m about a two-hour drive from any book shopping.

I’m also trying to participate in the 100 book challenge. When I’m there, I’ll be all about shopping (although I don’t need to. I’m the proud owner of 2258- trying to get it below 2000).

I was not doing this challenge but went to my local second hand store today and bought 7 books (2 hard cover; 5 paperback) all in great shape (some appearing new) for $24.10 Love when that happens.

Maybe a little later I'll try it, when it's time to buy more, lol! Also, the outro catch phrase is HARD... and I'm still not that pleased with mine, but it seems to be sticking. I love "Maurice"! I do thrifting for books every week....my problem is the thrift stores here are so cheap, it's tough to pass up anything even marginally interesting.... Hardbacks are 3 for a buck...Paperbacks go 5 for a dollar....thus the problem I mentioned in another of your videos...more books than I will ever read! Am enjoying your videos. Keep up the good work!
