One of my favourite moments is when Lee is about to go on a date (think it might have been the episode where he meets Daisy through speed dating) and Lucy goes "you smell nice, let me guess: obsession by Clavin Klein"

Ppl saying it changed after series 8- he stated that he makes comedy for his audience & each episode is based slightly on his/his friends real life situations. As him and his friends and audience got older, married and with kids he wanted to carry on the sitcom to relate to him/them. But anyways Lee Mack would be my make a wish😂

The great thing about doing it live is that Lee Mack's humour means it's ok to break the fourth wall occasionally like the fly joke or when he calls Sally 'people' 😆

I do love this sitcom. I think series 7 would have been an ideal place to end the show, but that said, there have been some great episodes in the later seasons. The live episode was truly brilliant and very underrated by the mainstream masses.

Probably my favourite sitcom. Started watching it around 2008/9 and enjoyed it all since then. Lots of people complain about the last couple of series but things change, people come and go, stuff doesn't stay the same etc. Lee Mack and his fab jokes are the point of this sitcom, to me. Binging it from the very beginning right now and I'm just addicted!

My favourite episode from this show will always be ‘escape room’ I remember my reaction to Lee’s reveal when I first watched it, complete disbelief mixed with belly laughing for a full hour. 😂

1. Lucy revealing to Lee that she accidentally ran over a rabbit belonging to the daughter of a potential client, and then her voice slowly growing higher when she phones the client back.
"How was that?"
"Well, he might not have you down as a rabbit killer but he might think you're a helium addict."
2. When they try to replace the rabbit without the client noticing, and almost get away with it but are busted by a fatal piece of anatomy.
"Daddy, you know how I was born a girl? Will I always be a girl?"
"Probably, sweetheart. Why do you ask?"

I LOVE Not Going Out. Its so underrated, but I'm sure there were way funnier moments that weren't mentioned in this list. For example, there was one moment where Lee and Lucy were hiding under the bed while their friends Toby and Anna were having sex. I was laughing so much I was out of breath. 🤣🤣🤣
