I never told my black grandpa I love u even till the day he died. His kidney disease made him disoriented and he couldn’t remember to much and repeated himself a lot but one thing he did remember was the fist bumps he gave me every day and my name. I’ll never forget walking in the hospital on his last days and hearing” hey there he is, big G. Mmmhmm that’s him.” That was the way he showed his love it never had to be spoken. But cherish any love language she give bc when she’s gone you’ll never forget it.

Hahahahaha this is so sweet, my mother in law is vietnamese and is like that too, they usually don’t say or get told I love you, but I learned how to say I love you mom in vietnamese and I told her, at first she could not understand what I was saying (probably cuz of my bad accent) but once I said it better she laughed and blushed. Now she tells her grandkids she love them all the time and we tell her too, she is the best mother in law. ❤❤❤ keep spreading love with words and acts.
