I am a dog trainer. As a boisterous family with children, you absolutely did the right thing by re-homing Ruby. I know it’s a heart-breaking situation but safety comes first.

I just have to say leaving in Penn's emotion about having to rehome your dog was really a good thing. Today to many people put on this happy face even when things are difficult and it's good to see that not everything is great for everyone all the time, so many people can relate to this, myself included.

I’m not an emotional person. It takes a lot to make me cry. I only cry about things with my family. It’s hard to make me truly feel sad about other people but when they talked about ruby I felt really bad. I didn’t cry but it’s still sad. I wish the best for you and your family.

Thank you for sharing about Ruby. My sister had a very sensitive dog too. Big hugs 🤗 to all of you for all your sacrifice in finding her a safer home. PC, Ruby knows you love her. She knows that you are her boy. She knows she would be with you now if she could change how stressed she gets about her triggers. I literally started crying seeing Penn Charles upset about Ruby. Our old girl had to be put to sleep two years ago and losing a pet, in any way, is devastating. I just wanted to hug him.
