As Covid-19 cases spike in some countries, it’s clear that the pandemic isn’t slowing down. That’s why many are pinning their hopes on a vaccine. Thousands of scientists are now working on more than 150 vaccines, but none have been approved for use. The US Food and Drug Administration has granted Fast Track designation to COVID-19 vaccine candidates under development by Pfizer and its German partner BioNTECH. So just how close are we to getting an effective coronavirus vaccine?

Look I’m an incoming freshman in college and I’m bummed about missing out on parties, hs graduation, trips, etc. But honestly, I would rather live in a generation that defeated a deadly global pandemic and throw the biggest celebration ever once it’s over than having any one of the parties or celebrations/memories that I’m missing out on.

We have seen people in complete isolation for months catching corona viruses. Happened in the arctic expedition where the people were completely isolated for month.
