This is a good trade for the Celtics. The game is going back toward big men and the unique thing about Kristaps is he can stretch the floor and open up the opponents defense so much especially if he's playing with an already stout offensive team. Major upgrade at the center position for the Celtics which is something they need.
But very very upsetting to see Smart go as he was a part of their core.

As a Celtics fan, this is a bittersweet trade. Marcus was big for the Celtics, his love for the game is undeniable. Hope he'll do great in Memphis. I will always rock you #36 ☘️

On the other end, KP is a great pick for my C's, can already imagine the pick and rolls, perimeter shots, and his defensive plays. One thing, just one thing, hope he stays healthy throughout the season.

All everybody wanna talk about is Porzingis injury history yet it your talking about just last year he played 65 games and looked like a beast last year, he is gonna help the Celtics out alot he paired with JT and JB will be really solid for him not to mention the rest of the team is gonna be good as well a healthy Brogdon, Grant Hauser and everybody Porzingis makes everybody better he is gonna open up so much for the Jay's!!

im a DIE HARD Celtics fan. and i really like the trade. we need an center (who is actually an offensive threat) more than we need a bunch of PGs. We still have DWhite and Brogdon. I think brad stevens kind of got a steal since we also got those first round picks as well
