As someone who is sick and has spent their lifetime in the hospital, this hits really really hard. Everything about this is beautiful. When I sing this I get lost in the lyrics and I just think about all the times I’ve been laying in a hospital bed alone or when my loved ones were there by my side and how hard each and every one of those moments were for me, let alone anyone who has had to watch me suffer. I know that one of these times will be my last time. I just hope I’m not alone.
